2011 Sneakercon New York

Sneakercon New York turned out to be one of the best shows in Sneakercon history. Located at 151 Sullivan Street in Soho, the event brought out all types of attendees from newbies to celebrities. Shoe enthusiast started to line up at 6:00 AM for the 12:00 PM start and the line did not get smaller as the doors opened. In fact, the line extended blocks away from the door for the duration of the event.

Among the many shoeheads at the event were some expected and unexpected celebrities such as Hulk Hogan's son, Nick Hogan. Representing the big screen was ATL's star Albert Daniels, and who can forget the appearance of DJ Clark Kent. All in all the event was a huge success and thank you to all the people who helped make this happen. Check out the photos from the event below....

Nike Dunk SB "Statue of Liberty" out now!

The higly anticipated "Statue of Liberty" dunk has finally dropped this week. The color of the shoe is made based on the Pitina of the copper on the Statue of Liberty. Nike took another step in making this shoe a memorable release by adding a copper underlay beneath the outer shell of the shoe. Kaws x A Bathing Ape Dissected Series sold out

In a matter of 10 minutes the Kaws x A Bathing Ape Dissected Series sold out worldwide. The series features 3 different colorways such as a brown, white, and black. "Server Error" is what most computer screens read yesterday, a result of the high traffic to the site during the 11 AM online release. A big congratulations to those of you fortunate enough to get your hands on one.

Wiz Khalifa Rolling Papers Album cover

Wiz Khalifa just tweeted a snapshot of his album cover for Rolling Papers, which is set to release on March 29th. The artwork is a composition of Wiz Khalifa's face blended with white smoke on a black background. More information on Rolling Papers to come as it breaks.

Air Jordan VII "Bordeaux" detailed pictures

One of the most anticipated shoes of 2011, the Air Jordan VII "Bordeaux", is set to release this April. For true Air Jordan fans this release couldn't have taken any longer. The last time this shoe was released was February of 1991 when Michael Jordan carried the Chicago Bulls to their first NBA Championship.
